JD Dunbar's Experience
It has been more than a decade since I began my association with One on One. I was committed to exercise when I started, from the waist down. The strength I have acquired is commensurate with the credit I give to specialized, compassionate trainers and an atmosphere that could well be called the "Cheers" of health clubs. That "coming home" quality stems from everyone knowing your name, spoken warmly in greetings and goodbyes.
As someone who once celebrated running seven miles in one week, seven miles in one day is a common accomplishment. Who would have ever imagined these middle aged legs running double-digit distances? Now a veteran of multiple marathons and close to dozen half-marathons, I know that my running is a metaphor for living. I have incorporated fitness as a component of the RULE State Leadership program I administer. I view leadership as holistic relationship building, due in part to the impact of One on One on my well-being.
Life is short, and the money I spend at One on One Fitness in State College is the best investment I can make right now.
